Favorite Concert: Hopeless Fountain Kingdom Tour By Halsey

I’ve been to a few concerts and of the few, I would have to say that seeing Halsey was by far the best. It wasn’t just the best because I knew all of the songs that she performed, or even because of how awesome she is. It was because it was the first time I felt like I could really connect to her music one on one. Halsey’s hopeless fountain kingdom concert was full of laughter, singing, and screaming of joy. I was able to go with one of my closest friend and together we had a blast! We kept saying we would use the restroom when she was playing a song we weren’t too fond of, but it turned out we were quite fond of them all!

If you’ve never been to a concert before, I suggest you save up and go! It truly is an experience that you will cherish for a lifetime.

I had great company, and the people sitting next to us were just about as hyped as we were(or maybe even a little more). The people who sat behind us were super cool too. One of the girls had noticed a shirt that I let my friend borrow and mentioned how she had the same one, but in a different color. It’s concerts like this, where you get along with the people that surround you that make it such an experience! I wish I had the opportunity to capture a selfie with them just for memories but unfortunately I was so hyped about Halsey that I cared more about watching her perform than puling out my camera.

Mary and I sat close enough that we didn’t have to depend on the big TV screens to see her, but far enough that I had to wear my glasses in order to clearly see her.

My favorite part of the night was when security came up to me and my friend and said, “You know you’re not allowed food down here? Who let you down here with all that food”. Without saying anything, I gave him the, “Please don’t get me in trouble look” and offered him a chicken tender. He laughed and said he was joking, but I couldn’t get over how my first reaction was to offer him a chicken tender! We were all hysterical about the situation.

We made about four trips or so back to the bar and three trips or so to the food concessions.

We drank like it was our last night together and ate as if it were our last opportunity to. All in all, it was an amazing experience together.

Not only did we go and see Halsey together that weekend, but we even went to get matching tattoos! Together we got two pinky promises behind our arms and above the elbow. take a look below ↓
